Gasore grabs another win to take lead in Cycling Cup

Gasore Hategeka won the Central Challenge on Saturday , finishing the 122-kilometer race in just under 3 hours 11 minutes ahead of Araruya Joseph and Uwizeye Jean Claude.

It was a second straight win for the in-form rider who also won the Muhazi Challenge in last August.

Gasore was helped by his returning form. "This is a good year for me.I just hope my form continues till November as I want to perform well in Tour du Rwanda.”said Gasore.

With just two races left, the Benediction Club rider needs to keep his form to win this year’s Rwanda Cycling Cup which concludes in October.

Eric Imanizabayo won junior race while Beatha Ingabire dominated the women’s race.
