Rwanda Cycling Federation agrees cooperation pact with Belgian Cycling Federation
The Rwanda Cycling Federation (Ferwacy) and the Cycling Federation of Belgium agreed to cooperate with a view to develop cycling sports in both countries.
The agreement was signed in the Belgium capital, Brussels , by the president of Rwanda Cycling Federation,Aimable Bayingana and his Belgian colleague Tom Van Damme.
This agreement will see exchanges between the two associations in a variety of cycling areas.
“ This cooperation will be focusing on exchanging expertise and experience in various areas such as trainings and educational courses. They have so many races with many circuits,so our boys and girls will be able to compete in those races and gain more experience.It also includes material support such as bikes and kits.”said Bayingana.
A wide cycling spectrum is covered by the agreement, including the introduction of Track Cycling in Rwanda,technical and educational courses and seminars.
