Bonaventure makes it two in a row

Benediction Club’s Boneventure Uwizeyimana won the 130.3km Race to Remember which started in Kigali and finished in Nyanza on yesterday to take his second consecutive victory in Rwanda Cycling Cup series.
Bonaventure soloed to victory in 3:36:49, beating Gasore Hategeka (Nyabihu Cycling Team) and Munyaneza Didier who rounded out the podium.
Fresh from winninng the 2018 Tour du Cameroun, Bonaventure showed his increasing form again with a stunning charge with 88km to go and managed to build the gap which allowed him to take the line comfortably.

Valentine Nzayisenga dominated the 80.2km women’s race while Jean Baptiste Nsabimana won the junior’s race.
Race to Remember, the third race of Rwanda Cycling cup series was organised in honor of the victims of the Genoside against the Tutsi.
Run by Rwanda Cycling Federation, the Cycling Cup race series are sponsored by Skol and Cogebanque.
